Object pronouns replace nouns that are affected by a verb or come after a preposition in a sentence.

Usage


It indicates the person or thing that the verb affects.

They are used after prepositions to complete the meaning of a sentence.

The words 'you' and 'it' can be used as both subject and object pronouns.


It is a dog.


I see it.


You gave me an apple.
